About Joyful Movement
Not only do you want a good workout, you want your joints, your muscles, your body feeling good afterwards.
As a Basi certified instructor, I am committed to helping you reach those goals in every session, paying close attention to how you move, giving appropriate guidance while encouraging you the whole way through.


Basi Certified
After receiving my hard earned pilates certification in February 2023, I have been teaching with delight and passion. My two favorite things to hear from client are, "I feel so much better and stronger," and "I feel so much more confident."


Our vision
To have less injuries. To move freely without fear. To exercise without concern. That's the hope and desire many of us have. And we still want a really good workout.
As a mother of 3 with diastasis recti and a ton of health problems, I needed to get my body and soul back to wholeness and joy. Pilates has helped me not only heal my core, it's played a huge part in preventing injuries and healing former injuries. Teaching pilates has and continues to fill my heart with gratitude and joy as I watch my clients grow in strength and body awareness.
Joyful Movement is about pushing our bodies past their limits with good body awareness and a healthy heart. It's about moving with precision and greater knowledge of our own bodies so we can work to prevent more injuries and feel good at the end of the workout. We work hard while encouraging ourselves, choosing joy rather than discouragement.

We're based in Fullerton, CA, close to Cal State Fullerton.
